I was standing in for Mike today who had decided not to head to the hills so I planned a flatish route leaving from Brompton. We headed north to Appleton Wiske and then to North Cowton, Moulton and Scorton. Bernie led a ride from Richmond and a few other people set off from other places, some of us meeting along the way and all converging on Kiplin Hall. I think there was 24 of us - but I was struggling to keep count!
We left in an assortment of groups to head for home. The riders returning to Brompton went on the gorilla route to Thrintoft, Yafforth and Danby Wiske and completed 37 miles.
It was a glorious autumn day which obviously encouraged people to venture out - thank you all for coming!!
