Richmond, North Yorkshire is situated in the centre of some of the finest walking countryside to be found. Swaledale was described by A. Wainwright as his 'favourite dale'. The locality offers superb walks with superb scenery. The club regularly walk in the Lake District and the North Yorkshire Moors, Yorkshire Dales, Teesdale, Weardale, Tynedale, Derbyshire, Wales and Scotland. Walks vary in length and terrain, offering something for everyone.
