Wild Boar Fell – Sunday 6 January 2013

We had an excellent turnout for the first walk of 2013 with 12 members, including Liz a new member, plus a human and a canine guest, joining me for a walk in an area not too often visited by the Walking Section.

Liz's Family Walks

Posted by Swaledale Outdoor Club on 2012-11-11
“On a beautiful sunny Saturday in October we met in Swainby for a family walk dressed to the nines thinking it would be cold up on the moor. How wrong we were! Janet and her 2 grandchildren, Ben and Louise, joined us (Liz, Tils and Lily) and we waited around for Anna and Ethan and Alice. Hubby had had to stay at home for a viewing we were excited to get, so we expected it to be a walk of dominant females with 2 boys in tow. No, Uncle John turned up with Anna and proved a hit with everyone.
