Our Wednesdsay evening crag meets ended (fitingly) with rain at Scugdale followed by Pie and peas at the Jet Miners in Broughton. Only four hardy climbers (and runner) arrived at the crag to do several cold wet scrambles before smugly descending top the pub to meet the fair weather climbers waiting at the bar.
However the Sunday meets in October have been successful with three of the Sundays dry and sunny.
October 7th saw two car loads hit Bowden Doors with many old favourites climbed and some new ticks added to the list.
On the 14th we headed for Castle Rock Thirlmere and on the 21st three of went to Camp Hill in Eskdale.
