January has seen limited activity from the climbers. Ray, Harry, and Calum showed supreme optimism heading for the Peak, diverting to Brimham and doing three routes before finally admitting defeat and going to Harrogate wall.

Several of us had an exiting day scrambling up Jack's Rake in Langdale. Livened up by the early arrival of the forecast snow. Ian and Neil joined Mark on his winter trip to Fort William. A poor forecast had put off several people including me, but they were rewarded with a good day on Saturday climbing several single pitch routes.
