County Pot - 13 October 2011

On arrival at Bull Pot Farm a large group of adults and children declared their intention to also go down County; so to avoid getting held up we got changed in double quick time to get ahead of them. The six of us (Nick, Richard, Chris, Bob E, Bob S and Elaine) set off down the pitch and once in Broadway we checked out Mushroom Passage down to Toadstool Junction. From there we followed Razor Passage passing through a couple of break down chambers, route finding was slightly challenging but if you follow the stream you can't go too far wrong. Once at Platypus Junction we had a look at Northwest Passage which is well decorated and worth a visit if you are in the area.

Water levels at Dismal Junction were sufficiently low allowing Bob E and Chris to get through to a large chamber - probably Molluscan Hall. We then set off up through the streamway to Poetic Justice where we split the team with Bob and Elaine returning back through Spout Hall and back up the pitch to the surface. Meanwhile the A Team explored Iggy Bliss and returned via Trident; apparently the climb down into Lower Pierces Passage was 'character building'.
