This year's event was very successful, raising over £600 for charity (this was split between Swaledale Fell Rescue Organisation and the air ambulance. The 2006 Swaledale Marathon was on Saturday 10th June. 425 participants completed the route in very hot conditions.

The club celebrates its 40th birthday in 2006. This will be marked by a week-long programme of events in September. |
