Note that Dales Mountain Biking cafe at Fremington will be shut on Tuesdays in December, January and February. Normal service resumes in March.

The Mountain Bike Section is holding it's annual meeting and premiere of the SOC MTB 2011 Movie on Wednesday 14th December at the Club House. The meeting will start at 7pm with the movie premiere being shown straight after from around 8pm. The Bar will be open and a pizza order will be made. Copies of this years DVD are available from Phil.

Photo Competition Winners!

After a closely fought battle the results of the 2011 photo competition were announced at the Awards Ceremony at the club house last Friday 19th November. Overall winner and also winner of Best Video was Andy Waddington with a fantastic video of paddling on the Upper Tees, Club Activity winner was Bob Evans with a great photo inside Alum Pot, Nature winner was Judith Turner with a very cute photo (lots of aahs) of goslings and Swaledale category winner was Phil Wadsworth with an excellent shot of snowy moors. The standard was very high and all the rest of the winners and the the winning video and photos can be seen on the Photo Competition webpage. Many thanks to James Gravenor and Paul Brooks for organising the competition and providing website know how and to everybody who entered for giving us a good evening's entertainment.
