Osmotherley

On this lovely hot summers day we cycled up to Sheepwash and down to Swainby, through the villages to Ingleby Greenhow pub where it was decided that in the absence of a beer garden we would continue onto Gt Ayton. When we arrived it was heaving with kids fishing and paddling and everyone else enjoying the sun. There was a real holiday atmosphere throughout the village.

The return route took us through various villages including Seamer, Hutton Rudby, Crathorne, Rounton and Ellerbeck. This was a very enjoyable ride with an interesting mix of cyclists. Len the leader, Ray and Lil the ever-faithful regulars, Ralph keen to cycle as many miles as possible on his new bike. Roly and Peter in search of hills. Chris and Dave Meek getting fitter and fitter, Jane who achieved her first 40 miles, well done.
