Great Douk

Before I went caving I had to get dressed into a red furry suit then I put on a blue suit and wellies and a helmet with a lamp on it. This felt funny. To get in the cave we had to climb up a waterfall. In the cave we were walking in a stream and the stream was quite deep. The water filled our wellies, it was very cold. In the cave we saw lots of nice rock formations and you could see how the water had shaped the cave. In the rocks you could see fossils. At the end of the cave we had to crawl on our hands and knees. I didn't like this bit because my hands got very cold but I kept going. Everyone said I was brave. I had to climb out of a hole then I was back on the ground again. Then we walked back to the car. We saw other children bigger than me. We got changed on the side of the road. I was glad to be in dry clothes.
