The Club is part of an initiative to promote Orienteering in the Richmond area. SOC has affiliated to BOF to enable members to attend any of their events. The current programme includes several local events from the BOF programme in addition to SOC events. The new permanent orienteering course at Round Howe was opened on Sunday 12th September. Participants 'warmed up' on the permanent course and then moved up the hill to a choice of colour-coded courses on Westfields. SOC has copies of the maps for the new permanent course and these will also soon be available from Richmond Tourist Information Centre. |
